Decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan
The son of the famous Karakalpak poet and thinker Ajiniyaz Qosiboy, with his unique and meaningful work, is a great creator who made a worthy contribution to the development of the culture and literature of our nation, to educate the young generation in the spirit of patriotism and noble ideas, and to strengthen the eternal friendship and unity between the Uzbek and Karakalpak peoples. The humanistic philosophical views reflected in the poems and epics of the sensitive poet occupy a deep place in the heart of our country.

It is especially noteworthy that this great figure, who studied at the famous Shergazhikhan and Kutlimurod inaq madrasas in Khiva, gained fame not only in our country, but also in the entire region as a popular poet, a mature teacher and teacher, and a skilled calligrapher. His beautiful works are loved by Turkmen, Kazakh, Kyrgyz and other brotherly peoples.

The fact that the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the son of Ajiniyaz Kosiboy was included in the UNESCO plan of international anniversaries also proves that his creative heritage is of universal importance.

In order to further study and popularize the unique literary heritage of his son Ajiniyaz Kosiboy and to celebrate the 200th anniversary of his birth:

1. The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Jogorgi Council of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan and Karakalpakstan, the National Commission on UNESCO Affairs, the Republican Spirituality and Enlightenment Center, the Academy of Arts and public representatives celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of the son of Ajinyoz Kosiboy in our country. let the proposals for a wide celebration be approved.

2. The organizational committee for the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the son of Ajiniyaz Kosiboy (hereinafter referred to as the Organizational Committee) should be formed with the composition in accordance with the appendix.

3. The organizing committee (A. Aripov) should approve the program of measures for the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the son of Ajiniyaz Kosiboy and the wide promotion of his creative heritage within a week, and ensure its timely and high-quality implementation:

publication of the poet’s “Selected Works” collection in Uzbek and Karakalpak languages, reprinting and presentations of artistic, scientific and popular works dedicated to his life and work;

according to the order of the state, to create stage works dedicated to the life and activities of the son of Ajiniyoz Qosiboy, as well as the art-journalistic film “Ajiniyoz” and organize their presentations;

In the city of Nukus, holding a competition of young artists of our country dedicated to the work of the poet “Say, you are from the songs of Ajiniyoz”, a competition of essays dedicated to the life and work of the son of Ajiniyoz Kosiboy among creative school students;

In September 2024, in the Central Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts, holding an exhibition of books, works of fine art and examples of folk art dedicated to the life and work of the son of Ajiniyaz Kosiboy;

In October 2024, Karakalpak State University and Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi will organize international scientific and practical conferences on the topic of studying the literary heritage of the son of Ajinyoz Qosiboy;

Organization of the poet’s museum at the Nukus State Pedagogical Institute named after Ajiniyaz;

Beautification of the grave of the son of Ajiniyoz Kosiboy in Moynaq district and the establishment of a monument to him, establishment of an eco-park named after the son of Ajiniyoz Kosiboy in this district;

organization of meetings and literary evenings dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the son of Ajiniyaz Kosibay with the participation of well-known writers and poets, scientists in higher and secondary special, professional, general secondary educational institutions, labor unions and neighborhoods in our country;

In November 2024, organizing solemn literary-artistic commemorative evenings dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the son of Ajiniyoz Qosiboy at the Alisher Navoi State Academic Theater of Uzbekistan and the Karakalpak State Academic Theater named after Berdak.

4. The National Information Agency of Uzbekistan, the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, the “Dunyo” news agency and other mass media should be recommended to widely cover the events related to the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the son of Ajinyoz Qosiboy.

5. It should be determined that the financing of the measures provided for in this decision will be carried out at the expense of budget funds allocated to relevant ministries, departments and organizations, their extra-budgetary funds and other sources not prohibited by legislation.

6. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan A.N. supervises the implementation of this decision. Let Aripov be responsible.
